Just before Victoria went into lockdown one of our students, Luke Bulley, made his final profession of vows as a Passionist on Wednesday, July 8th. This is in fact the day Luke and his classmate, Dalset (Dougie) were originally professed, in 2017.

At the completion of novitiate, every religious takes ‘temporary’ vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, for three years. Passionist take another vow, “to continually remember and promote the living memory of the Passion of Jesus”.  At the completion of three years, a candidate may request to extend his vows by twelve months or he may be requested by the Congregation to extend by twelve months. He cannot extend beyond a total of six years.
